Tips and Tricks to Preventing Pimples and Acne

We get it, pimples are annoying – not to mention painful, but do you know what’s even worse? It’s the blemishes and scars it leaves on your skin. Because bad cases of acne are constantly dealt with within Urgent Care in Montclair, California, your concerned friends at Above Urgent Care Center are here to give you some tips and tricks that you can use to protect yourself from these pesky things. Take a look:

  • Wash your face twice a day
Pimples and acne are rarely the results of a dirty face, but it is still important for you to remove excess oil and dirt by washing regularly.
  • Avoid rough cloth pads and washcloths
These can irritate your skin and cause inflammation, which can lead to worse acne breakouts.
  • Don’t pop or pick on your pimples
This often leads to inflammation and scarring.
  • Keep your hair clean
This may come as a shock, but excess oils from your air can actually travel down to your skin, making it possible for acne to form.
  • Talk to an expert
If you think that your skin isn’t getting any better despite what you do, then maybe a trip to our walk-in clinic in California will help.

This is not going to be an easy journey, so feel free to ask for a hand from our skilled physicians.

Our clinic is open from 8 am to 8 pm, seven days a week – even on holidays! So you don’t have to worry about finding an expert to help you.
